 
Throughout the year the area museums have
special programs in addition to their exhibits.
The Shoshone museum
sponsors lectures, hikes and driving tours from October to mid
April. During Old West Days, Nov. 6 and 7 this year, the museum
has a large author's book signing with authors giving 20-minute
talks every half-hour. The Visitor Center museum and park headquarters
is the location for ranger evening programs from November to mid
April. At Scotty's Castle there are special programs given several
