Member Benefits
  • All members will receive a listing on the Chamber website, www.deathvalleychamber.org. In the last six months alone, the website received 17,967 hits from visitors seeking information about the area.
  • All members will be listed in our visitors guide which is sent out to prospective visitors, given out at the travel shows we attend, given to our affiliate chambers for their visitor centers, and to the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, of which we are a member, in addition to being given out to all of our member's businesses.
  • All members benefit from the Chamber's participation in the Inyo County Coalition of Chambers of Commerce, whose sole mission is to promote tourism and film production in Inyo County.
  • All members benefit from our membership and participation in Pioneer Territory, a region of the Nevada Commission on Tourism.
  • All members are represented at five travel/trade shows and at Cal Expo every year.
  • All members are encouraged to place their brochures in the Chamber visitor center which is located just outside Death Valley National Park in Shoshone and is open 7 days a week. In this past fiscal year we had 17,704 walk-ins at the visitor center.
  • All members are invited to attend quarterly mixers for networking and social contacts.
  • Members receive free one-hour orientation programs on Death Valley for their employees. There is a small charge for employee handouts to cover costs.
  • All members receive quarterly newsletters with business news, upcoming events and items of interest.
  • Members receive invitations to business workshops on topics of interest to large and small businesses to be held during the year.
  • A speaker's bureau is available for members and their organizations on topics relative to area history.
  • Chamber-sponsored special events for the community are held annually.


Membership Guidelines

  • Memberships are held in the business/firm name.
  • One person (designated member) represents the firm. The designated member is entitled to one vote, may become a candidate and hold office. All employees of the firm may participate on committees.
  • All memberships shall be continuous unless cancelled (A) in writing by the member. (B) by the Chamber for non-payment of dues after 90 days, or (C) for non-compliance with Chamber policies.
  • Membership dues investment is non-refundable.
  • Membership plaques are the property of the Death Valley Chamber of Commerce and are required to be returned if membership is cancelled for any reason.
  • Membership in the Death Valley Chamber of Commerce may be revoked according to the terms set forth in its by-laws.
  • Your membership investment is usually tax deductible.
